saturday 4th october 2003
Our anniversary dinner was held with a
theme ... PRE-HALLOWEEN with many members coming in dress for
the night. A great time was had by all... local musician Paul Samuel was
on hand to play for the evening. A cornucopia of food was
provided by all members to feed not only our troops but also
the 4 visiting clubs that attended... in fact there was enough
to feed another ten clubs i would have thought. Take a gander
at some of what went on...
Lion Bondi came dressed for the night...
he decided to come as a were-wolf... clever disguise...nearly
everyone didn’t recognise him.
Lion David Stephens wasn’t sure who
he was coming as, so he wore 2 masks... this one we found much
scarier... a little two faced for me?
even with the ol’ wide angle lens we
still couldn’t get everyone in....

Ghost? Uncle Fester? or the Pillsbury
Dough Boy... our editor (namely me) wasn’t sure who he
was when presented with this picture...also Pillsbury is
flanked by Paul Samuel, our musician.
What has Lion George MacKay been up to...
if ever there was a guilty face to be had...he has it.
there were witches and vampires, ghosts,
Scottish Ghouls, and even little bad red riding hood manages to
peak into this shot,
Lion Ross Wilson came disguised as
President... convincing we thought... he is with little bad red
riding hood, the wicked witch and the gay witch.

think she decided that everyone was wickedly good... now

I wonder if anyone has told Lion Lance
Roberts that next time he comes as Barbie that he should wear
something white.. better for his delicate complexion
wouldn’t you think.
who made this ghoulish mess... it
wasn’t Lion Ross or Lion Alex... maybe it was them there
witches that did it... but you guys got the blame.
well somebody has to do it... especially
when they are partly responsible for it in the first place.
